This wine contains Syrah (50%), Grenache noir (30%), Mourvèdre (15%), others (5%). This cuvée is made from the grapes from the most representative and highest quality plots (average age of the vines = 40+ years). The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and sorted in the wine cellar. Co-fermentation takes place during a maceration of 3 weeks: the extraction is gentle to preserve the purity of the fruit and its tannic quality. The final blend matures for 9 months in a stainless steel tank on fine yeast before bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp class=\"tasting-notes\"\u003e \u003cb\u003ecolor\/bouquet\/taste\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003ePower, structure and colour are undoubtedly the characteristics of this vintage. Deep dark red colour with violet reflections. Very expressive on the nose: the attack is round, dominated by Syrah (floral notes of violets and spices). Thanks to the tannins of excellent maturity, the Grenache shows a dense, robust but supple structure.
