James Sucklin 92 points: Attractive aromas of redcurrants, fresh flowers and crushed stones follow through to a medium to full body, creamy tannins and a juicy, flavorful finish. Richer nature to this. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. Give it time to soften. Try after 2024.

tasting note
Petra is a bright ruby red in color. On the nose it amazes with spicy and balsamic notes that are well interwoven with hints of fresh red fruit. The spiciness is characterized by toasted notes that range from coffee to liquorice, flanked by balsamic notes reminiscent of Mediterranean maquis, with nuances of vanilla, creating a bouquet of great complexity and finesse. The taste corresponds to the nose, with power and intensity balanced by freshness and minerality. The fresh fruit, the light sweetness and the balanced tannins make the wine pleasant from the start and offer a glimpse of a great future.
