Growing area: near the town of Pozzolengo, in the heart of the hilly Lugana region, south of Lake Garda.
Soil type: Moraine terrain of glacial origin, clay and gravel soil.
Grape varieties: Groppello 35%, Sangiovese 20%, Marzemino 25%, Barbera 20%.
Winemaking: the grapes are hand-picked and transported in boxes. This is followed by the traditional rosé winemaking process with gentle pressing of the grapes and brief contact with the skins. Removal of the skins and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers. The wine is stored in stainless steel until it is bottled.
Wine characteristics: brilliant light red color with pink reflections, exceptionally full bouquet with floral notes (peach and wild rose petal notes). The taste is fresh, full and soft.
Serving suggestions: with starters, both meat and fish based, with fish dishes and light pasta dishes.
Serving temperature : 10°-12°C.
