The grapes come from 16 to 18 year old vines and grow on clay and calcareous soils. It is a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier. The wine ferments for one month at a controlled temperature (15-17 °C). From the second week of fermentation, the Chardonnay is placed in new oak barrels where it completes the fermentation process. 50% in French oak barrels and 50% in American oak barrels. The Viognier matures only in stainless steel tanks and is not subjected to wood aging.
Pale yellow in color with a straw-yellow glow. Very elegant on the nose with aromas of pear, tropical fruit, peach and citrus. A hint of vanilla and toasted bread. Fresh and mild on the palate with a long, fruity finish.
