Jeb Dunnuck 95 points: A true blockbuster as well as the finest vintage to date, the 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Gallimardes Blanc is mostly Roussanne from an incredible site located in the southern part of the appellation. Apple blossom, tart pineapple, white flowers, and a honeyed minerality all emerge from this medium to full-bodied beauty that has bright acidity, impeccable balance, and first-rate purity of fruit. It's already impossible to resist yet is going to evolve gracefully for over a decade if you're so inclined.
Parker-Czerwinski 92 points: Equal parts Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, with the Roussanne the only portion to see oak, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Gallimardes Blanc is a full-bodied, creamy-textured wine, with rich honey and marmalade notes balanced by crisp lime zest and a vibrant, saline edge to the finish. It should drink well for the next few years.
