Medium-bodied wine with a bright red background and red rim. On the nose it is intense and very fruity, the red fruits stand out from the glass, with a feeling of liveliness. The oak is practically imperceptible. There is a lot of freshness, and the main fruit note is linked to the cherry and its stone. The wine has a medium volume, with fine and lively tannins. Along with the fruit, the aromatic herbs also appear. The freshness combined with the sensation of red fruits is the sensation that remains on the palate. The long-lasting aromas leave a memory of freshness and light enjoyment.
Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha
Tempranillo, the most important red wine variety in Spain, is the main grape variety in the Sela of Roda. It produces dark, bouquet-rich and long-lasting red wines. It is popular with many wine drinkers, especially because of its relatively low acidity. Garciano and Garnacha only make up a very small proportion of the Sela, giving the wine spice and a subtle fruitiness. The exact composition in the Sela always varies according to the vintage.
James Sucking 93 points: Pure and precise fruit with blue and red berries, stones, flowers and subtle spices. Vibrant and full of fruit on the palate with very fresh acidity and some fine, nicely steely tannins. Good concentration. Drink or hold.
