2020 Le Beaumeray Champigny - rouge - Chateau Yvonne

A sublime wine, made from a plot of sixty-year-old vines that thrive on the shifting sands of Parnay. Here, the Cabernet Franc develops a ripe bouquet full of vitality, prolonged by sweet spices. Grown in this particular microclimate of Saumur-Champigny, the hottest in the region, the grapes are vinified on natural yeasts after the harvest. They are then aged for 12 to 24 months in foudres stored in tufa cellars. The result is an opulent and balanced wine, underlined by a beautiful acidity and a long and noble finish. A very beautiful wine with a long shelf life, to be tasted with grilled lamb with herbs from Provence.
