This Malbec Grande Reserve is a blend of Malbec with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The wine matures for 12 months in new and used French oak barrels and then ferments for a further 12 months in the bottle.
Violet in color, almost black, typical of a top quality Argentine Malbec. Intense aromas of red currants, plums, black fruits and pepper are expressed on the nose. A clear note of candied fruit can also be distinguished. Gentle on the palate with fine tannins. Nuances of blackberries, spices and truffles, which provide the complexity for a particularly elegant finish.
This wine goes well with roasted meats, cheeses and chocolate desserts. This wine can easily be stored for 8 to 10 years.
