This beautiful red wine is made from Nerello Muscalese di Sicilia. The Nerello grapes are blended in such a way that it is possible to let the grapes wither. The sugar content is increased by the hot Sicilian sun and the wind that comes from Africa. After 15-20 days, the grapes have lost about 15-20% of their weight and they are then pressed. Finally, the wine is stored in French and American oak barrels where it matures for a further 6 months.
Light ruby red color. The bouquet shows aromas of red fruits, herbs and red flowers. Warm, full-bodied, mild and balanced. Aftertaste of red fruits in the finish.
The wine is an ideal accompaniment to pasta with strong sauces, spicy meat dishes and cheese.
