Our Riesling Rebec grows on Devonian slate soil in the steep vineyards of the Middle Rhine Valley. This soil was formed around 400 million years ago by silt deposits in the ocean. The roots penetrate the stony soil down to the rocks. The Riesling is characterized by this effort and has a clear minerality and fine fruit aromas.
