2018 Altos R Rioja Tempranillo Oak aged Altos de Rioja 12 pack

This 100% Tempranillo is harvested by hand and destemmed after a careful selection of the bunches. After fermentation, this wine matures for six months in French and American oak barrels.

Beautiful violet red color, quite dark. Good aromatic intensity with berries (especially blueberries) and hints of herbs and grass. Fresh, medium body with aromas in line with the nose. The wine shows fresh fruit and the typical herbaceous notes of a young Alavesa red wine.

This wine goes well with pasta, fresh vegetables, tapas and young cheese.
