The grapes for this wine ferment in tanks. Halfway through fermentation, half of the wine is pumped into French oak barrels where it continues to ferment. The other half continues to ferment on the skins. The wine is finally aged for 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels that are being used for the second or even third time.
The nose reveals aromas reminiscent of spicy plum jam, accompanied by pepper and vanilla. The wine has a full body and soft tannins on the palate. The aromas of spices and plums are also found on the palate.
Enjoy this chiraz with stews, spicy roasts and roasted pork with a sweet sauce.
