2024 OUDE KAAP Rosé Bellingham

The Blanc de Noir is the rosé wine of the Oude Kaaps. This wine has come onto the market because the demand for rosé is on the rise again. The wine is made from the red grape variety Pinotage. The light pink color is due to the fact that the juice only comes into contact with the skins for a very short time. This means that the skins cannot release many colorants.

It is a dry rosé, but certainly not stone dry. The fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries, remain fully present even in the mild finish. A wonderfully fresh and mild wine that is certainly a great, fruity thirst quencher in summer.
