In the classic locations Felsenberg (Oberhausen) and Hinkelstein (Bad Kreuzach), the stony soil has a higher clay content in some places. These are the perfect locations for selecting Pinot Blanc grapes, which are then vinified separately to produce the S-Class.
Age of the vines approx. 40 years
Yields approx. 40 hl/ha 100% selective hand-picking
Fermentation and approx. 8 months of maturation on the yeast in new German oak barrels.
Selection of healthy, highly ripe Pinot Blanc grapes. The wood aromas of the new barrels made of Palatinate oak give the Pinot Blanc backbone and strength and make it an excellent menu wine with great aging potential.
