Growing area: near the town of Pozzolengo, in the heart of the hilly Lugana growing area, south of Lake Garda.
Soil type : moraine terrain of glacial origin, clay and gravel soil.
Grape variety : Turbiana di Lugana 100%.
Winemaking : the grapes are hand-picked and transported in boxes. This is followed by the traditional white winemaking process with gentle pressing of the grapes and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers. The wine is stored in stainless steel until it is bottled.
Characteristics: straw yellow color with brilliant gold reflections; fruity bouquet with apricot and peach notes. Good structure. Soft and long-lasting taste.
Serving suggestions : it goes very well with fish dishes, starters, first courses and white meat. Also goes excellently as an aperitif.
Serving temperature : 10°-12° C.
Falstaff 90 points: Bright straw yellow. A little reserved on the nose, delicate citrus fruit and white blossom. On the palate, however, juicy, with pull and fine pressure, clear fruit, persistent.
