2007 Château Climens Climens

There is not much more to say about Chateau Climens. It has long been known that this chateau is the one that is most capable of holding its own against the great Yquem. And since Yquem's prices have risen immeasurably following its takeover by LVMH, the Lurton family has also realised that they no longer have to sell their Climens below value. In the WeinGourmet, the 2005 Climens is the second highest rated Sauternes with 97 points, just behind Yquem (98).
