2015 Villa Gemma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Gianni Masciarelli

Falstaff 94-96, Dark, almost impenetrable garnet. Very rich nose, with fine wood spice, lime, ripe heart cherries, cassis and a little mint in the aftertaste, still needs to settle down a bit. Dense and grippy on the palate with wood spice that is still strongly perceptible, thus gently drying, yet powerful and powerful, with a little more calm, excellent foresight.

Suckling 94, Polished nose of ripe plums, vanilla, milk chocolate and some dried fruit peel, too. It's full-bodied and creamy with velvety, smooth tannins. Lots of chocolate and plummy layers that are smooth and decadent without being overripe. Will be even better after another two or three years in bottle.
