The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and, as the name suggests, is barrel fermented. The grapes are harvested by machine at night in the third week of August. Pre-fermentation takes place at 5°C. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 9 months in new French oak barrels made from wood from the Allier forests.
It has a brilliant golden yellow color and the intense aromas of tropical fruits, vanilla and almonds make it a complex wine with an excellent balance between freshness and body.
This wine goes well with seafood and shellfish, rice with baked vegetables, white meat and fresh, fatty cheeses.
