2020 Côtes du Rhône Les Sablières Escaravailles

Gilles Ferran, my father, joined the estate in 1986 after obtaining his diploma as an oenologist in Montpellier. With a clear idea of ​​the style of wine he wanted to make and with the support of Laurence, my mother, he vinified his first cuvées in 1999, thus shaping the identity of the domain. Wines that reflect him: elegant, deep, bright and fruity. Fruit, made to share. With the help and goodwill of his lifelong friend, Philippe Cambie, classmate, partner of Domaine Calendal and, above all, an astonishingly great consulting oenologist of their generation.

I, Madeline, have been playing in the vineyards and the wine cellar since I was a child and after various experiences in France and abroad, I naturally decided to join my parents, Laurence and Gilles, in 2018. This ensures the continuity of the family business. Now it's my turn to observe, learn, try and write the rest of the story by bringing my vision of wine to life. Thanks to the help of our motivated team: Abdel, Andrès, Camille, Clémence, Hafid, Joël, Kévin, Marie, Maxime, Philippe, Sébastien and all the seasonal staff.
