2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Rouge Domaine Thierry Mortet

Gevrey Chambertin is one of the most famous wines of Burgundy. The region owes this to Napoleon, who only ever wanted to drink 'le Chambertin', a Grand Cru from this region, and drank it with ice cubes.

The color of the wine is bright red. The nose is subtle and complex with scents of red fruits, cherries and berries. The same fruits come in the mouth, with mild tannins to finish. The wine is well balanced and has a lot of freshness. Good finish and well-integrated oak.
