Sustained freshness and lightness paired with character. The name “Viviser” is an old name for the Gutedel. The Gutedel comes from Vevey in Switzerland and the German name is Vivis, hence the earlier Viviser.
The bouquet has notes of citrus and peach, but is not banal or one-dimensional. On the palate, minerality, spice and citrus fruit. Perceptible but well-integrated, ripe acidity that gives the wine its freshness. A characterful, dancing drinking wine that is not intrusive and is therefore the ideal companion for many occasions. Aging potential of at least six years.
