2022 Oberhäuser Leistenberg Riesling Kabinett Hermann Dönnhoff

Characterful Riesling from the steep slopes of the middle Nahe. The vines grow here on stony, volcanic weathered soils, especially porphyry and melaphyre, with portions of slate and quartzite.

Age of the vines 15 - 30 years

Yields approx. 50 hl/ha selective hand-picking

Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel and large oak barrels.

A very typical dry Riesling from our winery. Hearty, fresh and clear, elegant with stimulating minerality. A wonderful wine for every day with not too high alcohol and very fine acidity.
