The grapes for the Caliterra Reserva Sauvignon Blanc come from Caliterra's Santa Marta vineyards in the Casablanca Valley. The vines in the vineyards are on average more than 14 years old and are deeply rooted in loam and clay soils. After the harvest, the grapes are carefully destemmed by hand and then cold macerated before pressing. The must ferments in 100% stainless steel tanks at 12 to 14℃. The temperature is deliberately kept low during fermentation so that the freshness, aromas and intensity of the wine are retained. The Caliterra Reserva Sauvignon Blanc is not aged in wood and can be drunk straight away.
The Sauvignon Blanc Reserva from Caliterra goes excellently with poultry, shellfish, asparagus and salads.
