Grape variety: 100% Glera grape. Autochthonous grape variety, grown on the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene since the beginning of the 19th century; in 1969 the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area was recognized as the only Prosecco DOC production area. Since 2009, the DOC has been upgraded to DOCG to protect the quality of this precious human and natural heritage, guaranteeing the absolute quality of each bottle.
Designation: Conegliano‐Valdobbiadene DOCG, the growing area includes 15 municipalities. The grape variety is only grown in the sunniest part of the hilly area at 50 to 500 meters above sea level.
Winemaking: “White fermentation”: the must is immediately separated from the skins to enhance the freshness and aroma. The “prise de mousse” is carried out at low temperature in pressure tanks. Characteristics: Light straw yellow color, fine and persistent perlage; fresh and fruity aroma with notes of peach and sour apple.
Serving suggestions: Excellent as an aperitif, also pleasant to drink between meals. It goes very well with vegetable and fish starters, warm entrees and delicate main courses. Perfect with fruit at the end of the meal.
