2015 Poggio Valente - Magnum Le Pupille

Parker- Larner 94 - 2018 - 2030 :I absolutely enjoyed the 2015 Poggio Valente. This pure expression of Sangiovese really hits all the right buttons. The wine is rich and long-lasting with ripe fruit intensity followed by bold aromas of cherry, blackberry, grilled herb and moist earth. The bouquet is exuberant and bright. The wine shows a medium build that builds steadily in length, power and volume.

Suckling 95, This is very complex with smoke, meat, cherry and spice character that follows through to a full body. The palate grows with more spice and polished tannins. A fantastic wine. Drink in 2020.
