2017 Barbaresco Autinbej Ca' del Baio

Der neue Barbaresco 'Autinbej' stammt von den jüngsten Weinbergen der Inhaberfamilie Grasso und löst ab dem Jahrgang 2014 den Barbaresco Marcarini ab, welcher als Jahrgang 2013 zuletzt produziert wurde. Noch ist 'Autinbej' ein ungestümer Jungspund, doch mit zunehmender Reife wird sich auch hier die Milde des Alters einstellen.

Suckling 93, A soft, fruity red with plum, walnut and lemon-rind character. Medium to full body and creamy tannins. Shows richness with tension. Drink in 2021 and onwards.

The 2017 Barbaresco Autinbej is a very pretty wine for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Dark red berry fruit, spice, leather, tobacco and cedar all build with time in the glass, giving the 2017 lovely textural richness and resonance. This is very nicely done.
