Der Donoratico besteht zu etwa 70% aus Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot und 5% Cabernet Franc. Nach der Vinifikation reift der Wein für zwölf Monate in französischen Eichenholzfässern und sechs Monate in der Flasche.
