2022 Roussanne Les Vignes d´à Côté Yves Cuilleron

Vines in the communes of Chavanay and Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône. Call the « Vignes d’à coté » because it’s mainly vines next to the appellation area.
soil: Granitic
Grappe variety : Roussanne.
Viticulture : Naturel cover cropping to avoid erosion. No insecticides with respect of soil and vine balance, few treatments (depending on weather and the necessary) and small amount of organic fertilizer. Vigour and yield control, leaf-thinning and green harvesting to promote grape ripening. Disbudding on the spring.
Vinification et élevage : plot harvest and vinification. The grapes are hand-picked; then sorted and left to settle in the cellar. Alcoholic and malolactic fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.
Olfactory Tasting : Fine and aromatic wine. Fleshy and gourmand fruits nose accompanied by sweet white flowers and citrus.
Tasting : The mouth is fresh and pleasant, a lovely fruity length.
Garde : Drink young, up to 3-4 years.
Accord : Shellfish (mussels in white wine and lemon).
